Joining a regulated profession requires our workforce to follow professional standards including quality assuring, approving, and enhancing the workforce practice. Each regulator presents the professional standards that must uphold to be registered to practise in the UK. If you work in health, social care, or social work, you will be required to work to each regulator’s codes of practice. Look below to find out more.

We want being registered with the SSSC to be simple, easy to understand and for people to know about the benefits and value of being registered and the standards, skills and qualifications needed to deliver high quality care.
